To whom it may concern:
We were nearing the end of our equipment lifecycle and needed to replace our servers, workstations, tape backup system and UPS. I had worked with a member of the staff at Complete Systems Design years ago and requested they review our environment and make a recommendation. They performed a full audit of our current environment including equipment and software and prepared an estimate of how much it would cost for all the items we needed and let us know what items we should keep.
Complete Systems Design went to great lengths to ensure we got the best deal on prices from our existing local reseller. The team followed up and made sure all our equipment was shipped on time so that the entire project could be completed quickly. They even negotiated for a significantly faster internet connection at the same price as we were already paying!
Even though the process required a replacement of nearly every workstation and server there was no significant downtime for anyone. Complete Systems Design worked after hours and through the weekend so that our business could continue normally and our clients were not affected. We now have remote access to our servers at work so that we can work from home.
We at Advice One would recommend Complete Systems Design, as they helped us organize what had never been documented, communicated in a way we could understand everything that was required and what to expect and even helped train our staff on some of the new software.
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Johnny Perreira, IT Manager of The Color Factor Inc.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mr. Jim Millerick on several occasions. Most notably was the full migration of our network from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 including all hardware and auxiliary software several months ago.
Mr. Millerick provided a great degree support and knowledge in this very complex process. His punctuality and willingness to work until the job was done was quite commendable. After working side by side with him for 18 hours straight, 2 days in a row I know Mr. Millerick is a true work-horse. Not once did he lose focus or drive.
Mr. Millerick’s many years of experience and vast resources makes him capable of accomplishing just about anything one could think of. He has cultivated many relationships in the industry which is invaluable when it comes to solving the obscure or incredibly complex in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.
I highly recommend Mr. Millerick’s services for your next project.

I wanted to thank you for all your help in our recent transition to the UCLA Enterprise Messaging System. As I can now take a look back on the whole process, it is clear that your contributions were key in facilitating a smooth conversion!
One of the many things that you did was to identify our consultant, Jim Millerick (Complete Systems Design) who proved to be extremely helpful in the immediate pre- and post-cut over time periods. Jim participated in a number of aspects of the project, and I felt that it would be appropriate to comment on our experience with him.
In the pre-cutover period, Jim played a key role in the hiring and training of our transition team student employees, and they proved to be a very talented and helpful group of individuals. He also advised us on issues such as timing and communications with our faculty and staff, leading to adjustments that turned out to be important to the process. For example, on his advice we moved the actual cutover time from Saturday night to Friday night. The rationale was to allow us to take advantage of the weekend time when we had our transition team available to configure computers, and to give us some leeway in time in case of any major problems. As it turned out we didn’t have any major problems and we were able to maximize on the weekend configurations, which I believe greatly facilitated the conversion.
Jim was similarly exceptionally helpful in the post-cutover period. He was here first thing Monday
morning, providing superb guidance on prioritizing and coordinating our user contacts. This was
particularly helpful in reassuring our large number of users that we were there to assist them in the transition, as well as in identifying and solving the few problems that arose. Throughout the process Jim proved to be a very valuable resource to our faculty and staff with any issue that they raised. He is very knowledgeable in all things IT, and on the rare occasion that he didn’t have an answer he researched the issue and got back to the individual.
I hope that I have conveyed the message that Jim was tremendously helpful in our EM conversion. I thank you for recommending him, and strongly encourage you to continue to do so for other units undergoing this process!
